The overall response to the first cut of my trailer was fairly positive, however several students felt the barn did not look realistic enough and changed the movie to a more comedic genre as opposed to a serious horror. To combat this problem I am going to try and shrink the barn so it is harder to see in the shot, but if that does not work, I will remove the scene completely. Similarly, the hand being cut with the knife looked good but also a little fake and was kept on screen too long, so to change this I am going to have a few shots zoomed in on just a small area of the arm to build up suspense and finally show the whole thing towards the end of trailer. Finally, some felt the ketchup looked too much like ketchup, so gave it away too early and did not confuse the audience, by using colour changing tools to darken it.
